Steve, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, started the Warrior Weekend Program after a visit to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in December 2006.
Program Manager: Jim Lafferty
Jim is a long time American Legion member. He has served in many Legion Positions and has been a key contributor to the Warrior Weekend Program since day one. He is past commander of Post 28.
American Legion Post 28 Family
Amerian Legion Post 28 of Millsboro, Delaware is the fourth largest American Legion Post in the world. It is a vibrant and Veteran Focus Organization. Their proud family consists of Legionnaires, Ladies Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion. The total membership of these three groups is in excess of 6,000 members.
